Ampurdan Polo Club offers all you need to improve your polo game. Whether you are beginner or experience polo player you can enjoy the unique training methodology of Ampurdan. First with horse riding classes and specific polo riding techniques. The good understanding between horse and rider is basic for polo. That is why it is important to ensure riding skills before participating in polo lessons. That way the polo player can easily focus on the use of the mallet and on the game itself, and enjoy polo. Then, theoretical and practical lessons. The teacher follows the student to the field, where he teaches him in the handling of the mallet, correcting his swing, backhander, etc. On the fly: “learning by doing”. Finally, all polo students get to play polo whenever the teacher thinks he/she is ready. The first chukkers are called the “baptism of polo”, which is followed by an Asado to celebrate the initiation of the new player into the passionate game of polo.
